Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead clinical and operational activities across the hospital, including the ED, Medical Surgical Unit and OR. The Nurse Manager will oversee staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure high-quality outcomes while supporting operations during assigned shifts.

The role requires a nursing degree with at least 3 years in healthcare administration and a strong ER/surgical services background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration.
• Strong understanding of ER and surgical services.
• Experience as circulatory RN.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site clinical and operational leader for the hospital, overseeing care across ED, Medical Surgical Unit and OR.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses and other health professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

The Nurse Manager (RN) serves as the on-site clinical and operational leader for the hospital, acting as a lead resource for the entire facility while providing oversight and coordination of patient care services across the Emergency Department (ED), Medical Surgical Unit including swing beds, and Operating Room (OR). This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery while supporting staff, resolving issues in real time, and maintaining hospital operations during assigned shifts. In a Critical Access Hospital setting, the nurse manager is a working leader who may provide direct patient care as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (master's degree preferred)


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration.
