Job summary

Unknown Company is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the ER/Med Surg/OR units at Deckerville, with travel to Aspire locations as required. This full-time, day-shift role includes comprehensive benefits and will oversee clinical and operational functions across departments.

The Nurse Manager will work closely with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care and implement strategies to improve outcomes and satisfaction within a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration.
• Strong understanding of ER and surgical services.
• Experience as circulatory RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site clinical and operational leadership for the hospital.
• Coordinate patient care across the ED, Med Surg (including swing beds) and OR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Education

The Nurse Manager (RN) serves as the on-site clinical and operational leader for the hospital, acting as a lead resource for the entire facility while providing oversight and coordination of patient care services across the Emergency Department (ED), Medical Surgical Unit including swing beds, and Operating Room (OR). This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery while supporting staff, resolving issues in real time, and maintaining hospital operations during assigned shifts. In a Critical Access Hospital setting, the nurse manager is a working leader who may provide direct patient care as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration.
