Requirements include RN license in MI, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, ENPC/PALS within 6 months, TNCC within 1 year, and passing the Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in MI.
• Current BLS certificate.
• ACLS required, if not complete must be done within 6 months of hire.
• ENPC preferred, PALS will also be considered, if not complete must be done within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC required, if not completed must be done within 1 year of hire.
• Must pass Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam within 3 months of hire; may retake test only once -OR-DIMS or CAMMP within one year if unable to pass.
• Previous ER experience preferred.
• Interpersonal skills: supportive, active listener, effective communicator with patient, family and staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic clinical evaluation and assessment skills are required for all age groups of patients serviced by the facility for which the individual may be involved in the patient care including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
