The position leads nursing staff and oversees patient care within a modern inpatient rehab setting that serves Southern Indiana communities. The Nurse Manager will ensure staffing, compliance with standards, and the application of the hospital’s guiding principles, while promoting quality outcomes and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active state Registered Nurse license in the state of employment required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Two years relevant experience required.
• Three years’ experience in a hospital nurse supervisory or management position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and administration of the assigned unit.
• Supervise the caliber of treatment and care of patients.
• Integrate the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current, valid, and active state Registered Nurse license in the state of employment required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Two years relevant experience required.
• Three years’ experience in a hospital nurse supervisory or management position preferred.

• Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS.
