Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Newton Centre, MA seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care in a warm, home-like setting. The 11pm-7am overnight shift is full-time and designed for stable, patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license and CPR certification are required.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status accurately.
• Observe changes in health or behavior and report to the Resident Care Director and physician as required.
• Direct and supervise Resident Care Assistants on daily tasks.
• Mentor Lead RCAs in all job aspects.
• Coordinate care with community providers via case management.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Identify and report elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and activate backup when needed.
