Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care in a warm, home-like environment. You will assess, document, and support residents, collaborate with a care team, and mentor junior staff while maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Evening full-time shifts (2:00PM-10:00PM or 3:00PM-11:00PM) offer a competitive hourly wage ($33.50-$37.50) and a generous benefits package including health, retirement, tuition

Qualifications

• Current state LPN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• 1–2 years nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly residents desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead Resident Care Assistants in their duties.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or neglect per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses personal emergency response systems.
