Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care and build lasting relationships with residents and colleagues.

Schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays 1pm-9pm, with per diem shifts as needed. Prior elder care experience is highly desirable, and CPR-certified RNs or LPNs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved RN program.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience with elderly residents is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health to care team per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in their roles.
• Coordinates care with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with resident independence support.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or neglect per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses personal emergency response systems as needed.
