Job summary

Regency Prineville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Prineville, Oregon, is seeking an LPN/RN to provide essential nursing care and supervision within a warm, home-like setting.

Responsibilities include medication administration, nursing services, staff training, and ensuring adherence to resident care plans while promoting resident dignity, privacy, and independence. Qualifications

  • Must possess a current LPN or RN license in good standing.
  • Typical candidates have 1 year of providing supervision in healthcare.

  • Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, medication administration, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
  • Train staff and report to the director of nursing.
  • Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
  • Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
  • Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
  • Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations.
  • Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
