Job summary

Regency Prineville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Prineville, Oregon, is seeking an LPN/RN to provide essential nursing care and supervision within a warm, home-like setting.

Responsibilities include medication administration, nursing services, staff training, and ensuring adherence to resident care plans while promoting resident dignity, privacy, and independence. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a community with a family vibe and a strong 5-star Medicare rating.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Typical candidates have 1 year of providing supervision in healthcare.

• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, medication administration, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Train staff and report to the director of nursing.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
