Job summary

Regency Monroe is seeking an LPN to provide essential resident care including medication assistance and nursing services. Duties include training staff, supporting a respectful, home-like environment, and ensuring care per treatment plans, with weekend rotation as part of the schedule.

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations.
