Job summary

Pilot Butte Rehab Center in Bend, OR is seeking an LPN/RN to deliver resident-centered care within a true team model. The role emphasizes leadership in nursing services, staff training, and quality resident outcomes.

You will assist residents with medications and treatments, supervise staff, maintain documentation, and ensure safety and infection control. The position promotes dignity, independence, and a home-like environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing.
• 1 year of supervision experience in healthcare.
• Medication administration and resident care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Train staff and report to the director of nursing.
• Ensure care follows resident treatment and service plans.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies within RN scope of practice and state regulations.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and a home-like environment.

As an LPN/RN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You will:

• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations


• Train staff and report to the director of nursing


• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans


• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures


• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation


• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations


• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents

You Currently:

• Possess a current LPN or RN license in good standing


• Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare.
