Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Vascular Intermediate Care Unit (Stepdown). You will oversee daily operations, supervise care teams, and ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and an exceptional patient/family experience.

This role requires BSN, RN license, BLS within 90 days, and 2 years in a leadership RN position. The unit operates at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with opportunities for PCCN certification and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; MSN preferred.
• Registered nurse license required; BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years leading RN teams or similar supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the unit and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Supervise care teams, participate in interviewing and hiring, and support staff development.
• Coordinate budgeting, payroll, and interdepartmental communication.
