Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join the Vascular Stepdown Intermediate Care (9 Kaufman) unit. You will care for vascular surgery, telemetry, and transplant patients, with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and opportunities for PCCN certification.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• New graduate RNs welcome to apply.
• Intermediate Care/Stepdown experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on Vascular Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU).
• Monitor telemetry and manage post-surgical vascular and transplant patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Support training and PCCN certification development and ongoing education.
