Job summary

Aultman Alliance Community Hospital (AACH) is seeking an RN Supervisor to provide overall direction of patient care on the off shift, weekends and holidays. The supervisor oversees nursing staff, monitors care quality, and collaborates with leadership to solve problems and ensure safety.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating discharge planning, and responding to emergencies while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state accredited nursing program and Ohio license.
• Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience with supervisory duties.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• PALS and NRP are highly recommended.
• CIDE certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise patient care on off shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide administrative oversight in the absence of senior leaders such as the Hospital Administrator and VP Patient Care Services.
• Coordinate discharge planning and care processes with the Case Manager.
• Respond to emergencies including Code Blue and disaster situations.
• Promote fiscal responsibility through staffing decisions and policy adherence.
• Gather throughput data and convey information via daily emails.
