Job summary

The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institutes (OSUCCC-James) is seeking an Associate Nurse Manager to help plan, direct and evaluate patient care operations on a 24-hour basis within the Nursing Department. You will support the Nurse Manager in leading a team of care providers and upholding the Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Required qualifications include a BSN, an Ohio RN license, and at least two years of clinical experience

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing; master's preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, organization, direction and evaluation of patient care operations on a 24-hour basis.
• Support Nurse Manager in guiding and coaching patient care staff and ensuring adherence to the Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient care operations and outcomes.
