Job summary

The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is seeking a Staff Nurse to manage and deliver patient care, directing nursing staff and coordinating care with the broader team. You will assess and plan care, implement and evaluate nursing actions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Candidates must hold a nursing degree from an accredited program and possess an Ohio license or interim permit, with experience in relevant care settings

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide nursing care to patients and supervise the nursing care provided by others on the care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate patient care in alignment with the professional practice model.
• Ensure patient and family engagement in the plan of care, supporting quality and safety outcomes.
