Job summary

You will apply clinical expertise in direct patient care, staff development, and treatment planning, while promoting teamwork and customer relations. A nurse leader with relevant inpatient psychiatric experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program and at least 2 years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience.
• Must possess current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland at time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour operational management of the unit.
• Manage expense budgets of assigned clinical programs and staffing strategy.
• Respond to changes in patient acuity and census to maintain a safe environment.
• Utilize clinical expertise in patient care, staff development and treatment planning.
• Supervise nursing, rehabilitation services and support staff.
