Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to coordinate and supervise nursing care on assigned units. The role ensures compliance with policies, laws, and regulations while driving improvements in patient care and cost effectiveness.

The position leads budgeting, personnel activities, and regulatory duties, supporting the Nursing Department’s vision and Magnet framework, and collaborates with the Medical Director and Physician Liaison for safe, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BSN program and 2 YOE.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) – RN in PA.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the delivery of nursing care on assigned units.
• Ensure compliance with directives, policies, laws and regulations.
• Support EMR improvements and budgetary personnel activities; mentor staff and participate in performance management.
