Qualifikationen

• Current, valid licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Colorado Board of Nursing or via eNLC.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in an occupational field related to nursing/healthcare.
• Substitutions: appropriate education can substitute for up to two years of experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Must pass full background checks including CBI & FBI fingerprint checks and other state/federal screenings.

Aufgaben

• Perform admissions and daily assessments; develop care plans and monitor health changes, notifying physicians as needed.
• Safely administer routine and specialized nursing interventions, including IV therapy and enteral nutrition.
• Direct, delegate, and prioritize daily assignments for nursing staff (RN, LPN, CNA) based on workload.
• Orient new employees and provide coaching; ensure staff competencies are met and evaluated.
• Maintain accurate resident records in the EHR; document assessments, progress notes, and MAR/TAR.
• Ensure adherence to regulations, promote infection control, and participate in quality improvement teams.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and House Supervisors to maintain high-level unit care; communicate policy changes to team.
• Operate a State vehicle to conduct off-site assessments or transport residents as needed.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge through ongoing education, workshops, and literature reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
