Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse House Supervisor PRN to lead and coordinate hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensuring safe and effective patient care.

You will oversee RN assignments, collaborate with managers, and participate in hospital councils and nursing initiatives to shape patient outcomes. The role requires strong clinical leadership, adherence to policies, and the ability to respond quickly to changing patient needs on a busy unit.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 5+ years nursing experience.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient assignments to specific units.
• Assign nursing staff to clinical areas within the hospital.
• Act as the official representative of management in the absence of leadership.
• Assess personnel needs based on census, acuity, and unit requirements.
