Highpoint Health Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as House Supervisor on a PRN basis. The role emphasizes leadership across shifts, staffing coordination, and ensuring high-quality patient care under the nursing process.

The RN must hold an active Tennessee license, have an associate degree (BSN preferred), and complete required certifications within set time frames.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee license or multi-state license
• Associate-degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications within specified timelines
• Ability to think clearly, make quick, sound decisions under pressure

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process as per scope and standards
• Administer medications, collect specimens, perform clinical treatments
• Document care accurately and timely
• Monitor patient status and communicate with care team, physicians, and families
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility
• Coordinate patient transfers, discharges, and referrals as needed
• Educate patients and families about condition and care plan
• Advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being
