Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa is seeking a Nurse Helper I to support nursing staff during night shifts at St. Joseph's. You will assist with patient care under RN supervision, helping to keep patients safe and comfortable.

This pool role requires BLS within 30 days of hire and Nurse Helper training before orientation. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Weekend work is occasional; shifts run 6:45pm–7:15am at St. Joseph's Main and Children's.

Qualifications

• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must complete Nurse Helper training class prior to orientation.
• HS Graduate or Equivalent GED

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in patient care under RN supervision.
• Avoid exposure to body fluids and devices containing bodily fluids.
• Follow Nurse Helper I role-specific responsibilities as directed.
