BayCare Health System is seeking a Nurse Helper I to assist nursing staff in delivering patient care under the supervision of an RN.
Responsibilities include assisting with patient care while avoiding contact with body fluids and devices that contain body fluids, and completing required classes and orientation on the unit.

Assist the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care according to BayCare role specific responsibilities of a Nurse Helper I. Directed by the RN. Assist with patient care without encountering any body fluids (i.e., blood, urine, stool, saliva, dirty linens, emesis, etc.) or any devices that contain body fluids (such as but not limited to, urinary catheters, nasogastric tubes, drains, used basins, etc.).
Other information:
Qualifications: Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Standard WELLE® training is required. Must complete Nurse Helper training class prior to orientation on the nursing unit.
