HCA Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Extern Student Nurse in Overland Park, KS area to gain hands-on experience while in nursing school. You’ll be part of the nursing team, supporting safe, compassionate care under supervision and progressively taking on more responsibilities as you advance in your RN program.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, vitals, mobility, basic nursing tasks, and documenting care while following infection prevention practices.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Active enrollment in a Nursing program for RN.
• Willingness to learn and assist with patient care under supervision.

Responsabilités

• Assist with ADLs, check vital signs, support mobility and hygiene.
• Perform basic nursing tasks as you gain experience (e.g., wound and catheter care).
• Document care and communicate updates with the nursing team.
