Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an approved nursing program and maintain GPA requirements during employment.
• CPR/BLS certification is required for eligibility.
• Experience in patient care gained through an approved nursing program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Participates in selected nursing care activities and follows established policies.
• Assists with unit-specific duties excluding invasive procedures and medication administration.
• Helps develop and revise Nursing Care Plans and maintains unit records.
• Takes and records vital signs; collects specimens as trained.
• Delivers daily living activities and documents patient status and responses.
• Provides one-on-one patient supervision when required and reports changes promptly.
• Maintains confidentiality and ensures compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
