Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an approved nursing program (diploma, associate or bachelor’s) and have completed fundamentals of nursing.
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 upon hire and a grade of C or above in coursework during enrollment.
Current CPR/BLS certification is required

Responsibilities

Assist nursing staff with patient care activities as assigned and per nursing policies.
Record vital signs and document patient status in charts.
Collect specimens and support with routine nursing care measures.
Maintain patient records, supplies, and unit documentation with HIPAA compliance.
Provide one-on-one patient observation as needed and assist with ADLs.
Communicate patient needs and changes to the RN and care team.
