Qualifications

• Must maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 in an accredited nursing program.
• Must complete foundational nursing coursework and be eligible to participate in supervised clinical practice.
• Must provide documentation of coursework completion or anticipated completion before onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care under RN guidance.
• Supports mobility, transfers, ambulates, and uses assistive devices as directed.
• Records routine clinical measurements and reports abnormalities to RN.
• Aids in patient nutrition, meal setup, and monitoring diet tolerance.
• Maintains clean, safe patient environments in accordance with infection control standards.
• Observes patient condition changes and reports promptly to the RN.
• Performs preparatory education and orientation for patients and families as directed by the RN.
• Performs clerical tasks and assists with electronic medical record data entry.
• Manages unit supplies and equipment and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes competency‑validated skills such as 12‑lead ECGs, venipuncture, and specimen collection under RN supervision.
