Requirements

Must be a nursing student entering their last year of nursing school with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.

Important Dates

Application Submission Opens November 1st 2026. Closes: January 15th 2027.

Program Duration: 8 Weeks, Beginning June 14th 2027, Ending August 7th 2027.

Schedule

• 36-40 hours, three, 12-hour shifts a week following orientation.


• Candidates must have the flexibility to work either day or night shifts to match the schedule of the preceptor they are paired with.

Students may remain employed as a Nurse Extern until graduation completion. Following graduation and board completion they will need to apply for open positions and continue through the hiring process.
