UVA Community Health in Haymarket, VA is seeking a nursing student in their final year to join as a Nurse Extern. You will support patient care under an RN, assist with personal care, and help deliver safe, quality care in inpatient or outpatient settings.

Eligible BSN/ASN students graduating Dec 2027–May 2028 may remain employed as Nurse Extern until graduation and then pursue open RN positions within UVA Health.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student nurses who graduate December 2027-May 2028.
• BSN students who have completed their 3rd year; ASN students who have completed their 1st year.
• Students may remain employed as a Nurse Extern until graduation completion.
• Following graduation and board completion they will need to apply for open positions.
