As a Nurse Extern, you will be responsible for the following:
Performing specific tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Demonstrating accountability for assigned patients on shift or assignment.
Seeking out learning opportunities and guidance from appropriate individuals.
Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern will carry out routine patient care assignments, work in controlled care situations, and perform established nursing procedures for individuals or groups of patients.
Qualifications include:
Currently pursuing a degree in Nursing.
Completed at least one (1) semester of medical-surgical clinical rotation.
CPR certified in Pennsylvania.
Work 16 hours bi-weekly.
Every other weekend requirement.
