Job Description

As a Nurse Extern, your responsibilities include:

1. Performing specific tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
2. Demonstrating accountability for assigned patients during your shift or assignment.
3. Seeking out learning opportunities and guidance from appropriate personnel.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern will carry out routine patient care assignments, work in controlled care situations, and perform established nursing procedures for individuals or groups of patients.

Qualifications include:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Nursing.
2. Having completed at least one (1) semester of medical-surgical clinical rotation.
3. Being CPR certified in Pennsylvania.
