Job Description

As a Nurse Extern, you will be responsible for:

1. Performing specific tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
2. Demonstrating accountability for assigned patients during your shift or assignment.
3. Seeking out learning opportunities and guidance from appropriate individuals.
4. Carrying out routine patient care assignments, working in controlled care situations, and performing established nursing procedures for individuals or groups of patients under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications include:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Nursing.
2. Completed at least one (1) semester of medical-surgical clinical rotation.
3. CPR certified in Pennsylvania.
