Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Under the supervision of a registered nurse preceptor, perform and assist with tasks including basic patient care, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
2. Provide services to patients across all age groups from infant to geriatric, demonstrating understanding of their developmental stages.

Qualifications:

1. High School Graduate or equivalent.
2. Enrolled in an accredited nursing program, preferably BSN, with completion of at least one medical-surgical clinical course.
3. Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2.
4. Skills required include taking vital signs, bed making, patient mobility, and feeding.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Proficient in computer data entry.
7. BLS Certification required.
