Job summary

Premier-Washington is seeking an RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator in Pennsylvania to lead educational programs for the nursing staff, including onboarding, in-service and continuing education. The role requires current PA RN licensure, a BSN or higher, and prior nurse educator experience.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care protocols, mentor new staff, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• BSN degree or higher in Nursing.
• Prior experience in a nurse educator role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff, including onboarding, in-service, and continuing education training.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of patient care practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address gaps in care.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care protocols and standards.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to new staff members, guiding them to integrate into the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and nursing practice.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement projects.
