Loretto Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Nurse Educator (LPN/RN) to develop and implement educational programs and maintain a positive learning environment. You will coordinate training, serve as instructor for clinical programs, and ensure compliance with DOH and policy standards.

The role requires NYS LPN/RN licensure, teaching experience, and geriatric care knowledge. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for success in a collaborative, multi-site setting.

Qualifications

• Current NYS license and registration as an LPN/RN in good standing.
• CPR instructor certification is desired.
• Two years teaching experience highly desirable.
• Two years of geriatric clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOH/regulations and state survey process.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and in-service training.
• Coordinate delivery of programs across shifts and sites.
• Act as instructor for clinical training programs and supervise staff.
• Ensure programs meet federal, state, local regulations and policies.
• Maintain documentation of staff training and competencies.
• Promote safety and quality through QA activities and remediation.
• Provide direction for RNs/LPNs/CNAs and maintain equipment records.
• Participate in orientation and train-the-trainer initiatives.
