Job summary

Dover Behavioral Health System is seeking a Nurse Educator to lead onboarding, training, and staff development for a 104-bed acute care psychiatric hospital in Dover, Delaware. You will design and deliver programs, monitor progress, and collaborate with HR and leadership to meet patient-care standards.

The role involves managing HealthStream education, coordinating annual competency activities, and supporting hospital-wide training initiatives within a full-time day-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in DE (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Three or more years of related staff development/health care training experience.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure competencies.
• Monitor new hires' progress, participate in evaluations, and provide ongoing education.
• Design and facilitate training programs, CEUs, and in-services with HR and Management.
• Manage the HealthStream system to provide education hospital-wide.
