Evergreen Post Acute Rehab in Smyrna, DE is seeking a Staff Development Registered Nurse (RN) to educate and train staff, ensuring high-quality resident care. This full-time role collaborates with the DON/ADON to implement education programs and evaluate QA needs.

The ideal candidate holds an active Delaware RN license, has experience as an RN staff development/educator, and excels in communication, teamwork, and analytical problem solving. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the facility and community education resources to ensure that our staff receives the education and training necessary to meet the needs of our residents.
• Collaborate with the DON/ADON to provide education related to quality assurance data conversion and evaluation, and to inform staff of facility QA needs and programs to improve resident care.
• Analyze and evaluate nursing care of employees during probationary period to assure the standards of nursing practice are of the highest quality.
• Supervise, train, and orient all staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
• Develop and implement educational programs and materials to support staff development and resident care.
