Job summary

Sterling St James Inc. in Washington state seeks a Nurse Educator to plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and ongoing education for the nursing staff, and to oversee the nurse residency program. The role is full-time and based on-site in Warden.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, with an MSN preferred, a WA RN license, and CPR and ACLS/PALS instructor status desired. At least 5 years in acute care and 2 years in nursing education are expected. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

CPR certification and ACLS/PALS instructor status desired.
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in acute care within the last 7 years.
Minimum 2 years of experience in providing nursing education.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and educational programs for nursing staff.
Oversee the nurse residency program.
Conduct and facilitate certification courses for Healthcare Providers (ACLS, ACLS-OB, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC).
Collaborate with nursing managers and staff to enhance nursing skills through education initiatives.
