Job summary

Sterling St James Inc. in Washington state seeks a Nurse Educator to plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and ongoing education for the nursing staff, and to oversee the nurse residency program. The role is full-time and based on-site in Warden.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, with an MSN preferred, a WA RN license, and CPR and ACLS/PALS instructor status desired. At least 5 years in acute care and 2 years in nursing education are expected. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• CPR certification and ACLS/PALS instructor status desired.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in acute care within the last 7 years.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in providing nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and educational programs for nursing staff.
• Oversee the nurse residency program.
• Conduct and facilitate certification courses for Healthcare Providers (ACLS, ACLS-OB, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC).
• Collaborate with nursing managers and staff to enhance nursing skills through education initiatives.
