The Clinical Nurse Educator at Hartford HealthCare's Greater Manchester Region leads nursing education initiatives, advancing professional practice and competency across the hospital and affiliated facilities. This role partners with nursing leadership to design, deliver and evaluate educational programs that improve patient care and outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with strong expertise in adult learning, high reliability and LEAN methods, and a track record of mentoring

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of active clinical nursing experience.
• NPD or Clinical Specialty Certification within two years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in CT prior to hire date.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Learning Facilitator: designs, delivers and evaluates educational programs to close practice gaps.
• Collaborative Partner: works with nursing leadership to assess needs and develop inter-professional learning activities.
• Role Development: promotes professional nursing practice across the continuum of practice.
• Mentor: advances the profession and supports ongoing professional learning.
• Competency Management: captures and evaluates knowledge, skills and performance.
• Orientation: develops and evaluates onboarding programs for changes in roles.
• Change Agent: uses change management theory to drive outcomes.
• Champion of Scientific Inquiry: promotes inquiry and evidence-based practice.
