Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 2+ years of clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership preferred.
• 2+ years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license required.
• Nationally Recognized Specialty certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development, coordination, management, onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel.
• Provides orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention.
• Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust the program based on evaluation results.
• Develops competency evaluation processes and education activities.
• Designs educational content addressing practice gaps for identified audiences.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and participates in research, EBP and quality improvement.
• Supports lifelong learning and skill mastery among staff.
• Identifies opportunities for staff development and advanced practice.
