The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s preferred), an active RN license, and BLS certification, with the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• RN license in the state of practice or a valid compact state license required.
• Nationally Recognized Specialty certification preferred.
• Basic Life Saving (BLS) required.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, manages, and evaluates onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel.
• Provides orientation/onboarding to promote employee retention.
• Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust programs based on evaluation results.
• Develops and manages competency programs.
• Identifies educational activities to address practice gaps for licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Designs content delivery to promote learner engagement and outcomes.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and participates in research, EBP, and quality improvement.
• Facilitates lifelong learning and staff development through a novice-to-expert continuum.
