Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Active RN license in state or compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in acute care hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel.
• Provides orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention.
• Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust the program.
• Develops and manages competency education and activities.
• Designs educational activities addressing practice gaps for staff.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and participates in QI activities.
• Encourages lifelong learning and staff skill advancement.
