Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm in El Paso State Supported Living Center seeks a Nurse Educator (RN) to coordinate and implement the Nursing Education Program, orient new staff, and ensure competency across the unit.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas or a state that recognizes reciprocity.
• Minimum one year of RN experience; two years preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orients new nursing staff to facility protocols, guidelines, and procedures.
• Evaluates competency of nursing staff and ensures quality care.
• Coordinates and develops nursing education/competency programs.
• Assists in writing and revising nursing guidelines; promotes professional nursing practice.
