Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead education across Critical Care and Progressive Care, partnering with frontline nurses, physicians, and leaders to design and deliver evidence‑based training that elevates patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, a preferred MSN, Indiana RN license with board eligibility, 3–5 years in critical care, strong teaching skills, and the ability to develop curricula, simulate scenarios, and mentor staff in a fast‑paced

• Indiana RN license; board eligibility within 12 months; ANCC certification within 18 months.
• 3–5 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; curriculum design and teaching expertise.

What's required:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.

Licensure: RN Indiana License. Board eligible upon hire or within 12 months. Obtain nursing certification through ANCC within 18 months of hire.

Experience: 3-5 years previous experience in critical care – Emergency department, critical care step down unit, intensive care unit or surgical ICU.

Other Job Requirements:

• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training, design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups for the measurement of training effects.
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance.
• Assigned hours within your shift, starting time, or days of work are subject to change based on departmental and/or organizational needs.
