Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Kentucky with at least 3 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of MDS, care plan development and chart auditing.
• Strong oral and written communication and teaching skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to relate positively with residents, families, volunteers and staff.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and implements clinical training for all clinical staff.
• Develops new training tools, policies, and procedures.
• Provides clinical modules during orientation to all employees.
• Plans, coordinates, schedules and presents in-service for all departments.
• Coordinates, implements and maintains records of in-servicing for all staff.
• Coordinates the use of educational equipment and resources.
• Administers employee TB skin tests and maintains TB records per guidelines.
• Administers resident flu/pneumonia vaccines per CDC guidelines and records/consents per policy.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
