• Develops mechanisms for documentation of initial competencies achieved and sets individualized time frames for accomplishment.
• Provides orientation goals and strategies to orientee and preceptor.
• Acts as a resource in providing theory and supervised practice during training and orientation of all new staff.
• Utilizes adult learning theories to implement action plan strategies.
• Participates in the assessment of permanent and temporary employees.
• Develops and facilitates clinical orientation of all new hires with goals and resolution of performance problems with collaboration from service line coordinators.
• Mentors and monitors progress of new employees in theory and supervised practice for development needs.
