Carle Health seeks a Nursing Professional Development Specialist to support the Clinical Education team with orientation, onboarding, competency management and education. The role focuses on role development, collaborative partnerships, and research/evidence-based practice to improve learning and patient care.

You will collect data to identify educational needs, design and implement education initiatives, mentor educators, and assist with the Learning System updates while ensuring regulatory

Qualifikationen

• RN license in Illinois (IDFPR) required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC) within 2 years required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire required.

Aufgaben

• Assist Clinical Education in orientation and onboarding.
• Coordinate competency management and education initiatives.
• Develop and implement learning systems and annual updates.
• Mentor unit and department educators; provide consultation to influence plans.
• Plan and present in-service programs; develop education reports for managers.
• Support compliance with regulatory standards and environment of care.

RN license in Illinois (IDFPR)
