You will plan and coordinate education initiatives, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory and environment of care standards are met.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing leadership, ongoing learning, and development of a learning system with data-driven reporting to drive improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• NPD-BC certification to be obtained within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with others directly and in private to resolve issues and provides constructive feedback.
• Identifies own learning needs and initiates solutions; supports onboarding and competency development.
• Establishes positive relationships with physicians, department heads and administrative teams to foster quality care.
• Demonstrates best practices for staff to follow and mentors unit/department educators.
• Supports documentation of care and readiness for competency completion and regulatory compliance.
