Job summary
Incredible Health is recruiting a Clinical Educator in Westwood, NJ, to lead nursing education programs for staff including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education. You will assess educational needs, close competency gaps, and collaborate with clinical peers and managers to ensure alignment with hospital policies.
The ideal candidate holds a RN license in good standing, a Master’s in Nursing Education or related field is preferred, and 3–5 years of clinical nursing with
Qualifications
- RN license in good standing
- Master's in Nursing Education or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Experience in education and staff development
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs tailored to nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education
- Conduct regular assessments to identify educational needs and competency gaps within the nursing team
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, department managers, and administrative staff to ensure educational initiatives align with hospital policies and procedures
- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, providing expert advice and guidance on best practices in nursing care
- Maintain accurate records of educational activities, and evaluate program effectiveness through feedback surveys and other metrics
