Job summary

Carewell Health seeks a Clinical Practice Nurse Educator to advance staff development and evidence-based nursing practice across the organization. The role acts as educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leader, and researcher to improve patient outcomes and ensure quality care.

Reporting to the Director of Education, this position collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to design and evaluate competency programs, orientation, and leadership development while aligning with NJ Nursing

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN/Advanced practice or clinical nurse specialty preferred.
• Active RN licensure in New Jersey is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trainer certifications preferred or required as applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, and change agent.
• Facilitate education planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency assessment and continuing education.
• Lead quality-improvement initiatives and translate evidence into practice across disciplines.
• Coordinate orientation and ongoing staff education to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage in research activities and integrate findings into practice and policies.
